Lisa McCormick as Stevie Nicks

Lisa McCormick as Stevie Nicks, delivers a pitch perfect, high energy performance with beautiful Victorian costumes and storytelling that is undeniably Stevie.

History of Stevie Nicks

When Mick Fleetwood asked Lindsey Buckingham to join Fleetwood Mac in late 1974, it was Stevie Nicks that convinced Lindsey. Stevie purchased all the Fleetwood Mac albums and listened to them front to back, over and over, and told Lindsey that she believed they had something to offer the band. Lindsey told Mick that Buckingham and Nicks were a package deal, and so Mick agreed and they immediately began working on the self titled album ‘Fleetwood Mac’.

The album was a breakthrough for the band and became a huge hit reaching number one in the U.S. and selling over seven million copies. The band members were all suffering breakups during the making of  ‘Rumours’.  This album generated four top ten singles, has sold over forty million copies world wide and won a Grammy for album of the year in 1977. Stevie is best known for her distinctive  voice, mystical stage persona and poetic lyrics. To learn more about Stevie Nicks you can click here to visit her Wikipedia page.

Bio for Lisa McCormick

Lisa McCormick is a professional singer-songwriter whose passion for music began in her teens. Bringing her bluesy rock vocal style from San Francisco to Los Angeles, she quickly gained attention and secured her first record deal at just nineteen with Howie Klein of Warner Bros. Records, who discovered her independently released single and promoted it on radio stations in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Lisa joined the band The Boxboys, managed by Peregrine-Watts-Russell, and toured as an opening act for major artists including Madness, Mötley Crüe, Tom Petty, Berlin, and Eurythmics. The band was later signed to Elton John’s Rocket Records. During this time, Lisa also worked as a session vocalist at Chick Corea’s studio and The Record Plant.

Following her success with The Boxboys, Lisa went on to write and perform with Mr. Mister and collaborated with Jay Davis of Rod Stewart’s band.

She later teamed up with keyboardist Melinda Raymond to form the all-female band The Sheilas, featuring Dawn Richardson (Four Non Blondes), Paula Brown (The Go-Go’s), and guitarist Susan Ball (Puss n’ Boots). The group quickly gained industry attention, working with Tom Hulett of Hulett Management (known for managing The Beach Boys and Warrant). They secured a publishing deal, recorded demos for Warner Bros., and placed several songs in feature films and television pilots.

Lisa and Melinda later formed Love In Exile, performing at popular venues across Los Angeles. Her next project, Voodoo Circus, produced a music video and performed at iconic venues such as the House of Blues and The Key Club.

Lisa also toured Japan as a background vocalist for renowned artist Eikichi Yazawa, performing across 25 cities, including a live HBO concert at Budokan.

Influence: Beyond her performance career, Lisa was part of a movement that helped shape the early Los Angeles ska scene. The band played a pivotal role in inspiring the formation of The Untouchables and served as a key DIY bridge for emerging artists within that community.

Reunion: After decades apart, members of that era reunited for a special performance at the Grammy Museum in October 2021 as part of the “Top Rankin’: The O.N. Klub & Birth of the L.A. Ska Boom” event, celebrating the roots and lasting legacy of the scene.

Lisa McCormick as Stevie Nicks is a high energy, passionate performer that engages and entertains her audience and is honored to be representing Stevie.
